This is a series in progress. I am currently working on two more pieces. One orange and one turquoise.

It started out with a note to my artistic self: “Stop Making Sense”. After working on the Drag and Drop series, which required a lot of thinking and was very conceptual, I was ready for something more uplifting and “pretty”, something that didn’t need to make sense.

For the second piece – “To yourself be true” – I challenged myself to create a pink painting. I hate pink (at least in my paintings). It is too sweet. So, the difficult (for me) task was to paint pink but to stay true to my artistic self at the same time.
